architecture and design
With a personal fascination with the history and evolution in architecture, I’ve always noticed the design of buildings in correlation to the decade when they were built. I't’s fascinating to notice time and it’s changes through the way a structure was designed.
I spend most of my working life directing how things look, styling a shot, choosing a frame, deciding what a space should feel like before anyone sees it. This collection is the opposite instinct: no styling, no direction, just noticing what's already there.
This is less a study of architecture but more so the way these functional structures can echo their environment and the time period in which they were built, simply through design.
