Throughout my trip to Japan, I was most captivated by the lighting. Neon, lamps, and low light mixed into every inch of the city made it impossible not to stop. Pops of vibrant color, unfamiliar symbols, and intricate details that all demanded my attention. Japan managed to feel futuristic, traditional, clean, and gritty all within the same block.
